Nollywood Actress Omotola recounts ‘Shocking’ Experience during Ghana Trip

The AFRIMA 2018 event was held over the weekend at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) in Ghana. As expected, It attracted many celebrities across the continent.

One of such personalities were Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and she has given an account of her short trip to Ghana, tagging her experience as “alarming”.

According to the multiple award-winning actress, she changed N10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira) and shockingly, she was given GHS120 (One Hundred and Twenty Cedis) — which is actually the forex rate.

In a rhetorical post on Instagram after the 5th AFRIMA, she asked fans who understand economics to explain this to her.

The ‘Alter Ego’ actress also recounted how she subconsciously forgot to pick her phones after completing the signing in for an immigration card. She added that, after about ten (10) minutes later, it was announced and was asked to come and pick it up.

The philanthropist generally sounded very elated about her experience.
