Florida has declared a state of emergency to prepare for the tropical storm Hurricane Dorian.
It is already hitting the US Virgin Island and British Virgin Island at 97 MPH, weather channel has reported.
Dorian has been marked as category 3 hurricane and it will hit the east coast of Florida during the Labour Day weekend after hitting past Puerto Rico.
The National Hurricane Center has also confirmed this in a latest broadcast.
“All indications are that by this Labor Day weekend, a powerful hurricane will be near the Florida or southeastern coast of the United States,” the centre said.
The CMS has announced that it “will be temporarily suspending certain requirements necessary for Medicare beneficiaries who have lost or damaged their durable medical equipment, prosthetics, orthotics, & supplies as a result of #HurricaneDorian.
