
The final funeral rites of late highlife singer Kofi has been scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2020.
This was made known at a one-week celebration held on Saturday, February 15, 2020, at De Temple Social Centre located at Achimota Petroleum, a suburb of Accra, Ghana.
According to the family, all the activities will be held in Accra, and not his hometown Agogo Ashanti-Akim.
The one-week observation attracted a number of Ghanaian celebrities.
Key among them were Mark Okraku-Mantey, fori Amponsah, Kofi Nti, Nana Acheampong, Obrafour, Amakye Dede, Lucky Mensah and acting MUSIGA president Bessa Simons.
Kofi B, real name Kofi Boakye Yiadom died on Sunday, February 2, before a performance at Abaase Domenase in the Central Region.
He was noted for songs like “Koforidua Flowers”, “Mmobrowa”, and “Akua Donkor”.
