Nigerian dancehall artiste, Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy has explained the reason why he failed to perform at this year’s Ghana Meets Naija.
The “Run My Race” hit maker who was billed to perform at the event last weekend was though in town but failed to mount stage to grace the occassion but rather offered apologies to fans for the unfortunate incident.
He however explained that he cannot perform at the MTN-sponsored event due to his role as an ambassador for communication giants, Globacom – operators of Glo.
This unfortunate incident is likely to thwart the success of events in the country if companies and for that matter telecommunication companies decide to protect their brands through this avenue.
