Okuraseni Samuel and Agyemang at Doris' funeralAccording to ‘Mentor One’ crew, their late colleague Doris will now be resting happily in her grave because by the grace of God her funeral has been successfully held.

After the burial in Accra, the funeral was held last week in her hometown in Kumasi as custom demands. It started from Saturday and ended successfully on Sunday after church service in a very happy manner.

Doris’ mother expressed her thoughts to Flex newspaper. “I believe my daughter will be happy where ever she may be right now because I think we have done what is right of us. I will also use this opportunity to say thank you to anybody who supported me from day one,” she said.

In a chat with one man who started this whole thing, Okurasini Samuel and the Mentor One Crew, they said “we thank everybody especially management of media companies like Rainbow Radio who donated some items and cash, Flex newspaper and others. We are grateful to those who gave money from outside the country and also to those who have made promises to take care of her children. May God bless you all,” they said.

It is on record that Rainbow Radio 87.5 fm after reviewing the story on its entertainment platform Gh Entertainment hosted by the courageous Agyemang Prempeh aka Agyemang Nie, the station went ahead to organize cash donations and presented it to the bereaved family on the day of the funeral in Kumasi. This move by the station has been applauded by many pundits with many calling on other radio stations to follow suit with the same gestures. We at Flex newspaper are also grateful to Agyemang and his management members for that kind gesture towards a bereaved family.

Meanwhile, the boss of Rainbow Radio also celebrated his birthday last week with lots of celebrities in the country. We wish you a belated happy birthday Dr. Enjoy the rest of your years.
