Model and wife of David Beckham, Victoria Beckham has been named the ‘Woman of the Decade’ at the Glamour Magazine’s Women of the Year Awards.
Beckham, 39, was awarded at a glamorous show which was also attended by the likes of Daniel Radcliffe, Christopher Bailey, Jessie J, Kylie Minogue, among others.
Among other winners were Miranda Hart, Clare Waight Keller, Jameela Jamil and Nicole Scherzinger.
After receiving her plaque, she acknowledged the need for women empowerment especially from fellow women and thanked her husband, David Beckham for his unflinching support.
“I love to celebrate women [girl power]. It’s great when women support women. We need more women out there supporting women,” she said. “Thank you to my husband, who does everything for me, he supports me, he encourages me to follow my dreams and fulfil my passions,” she added.
