The CEO of EIB Network Mr Nathan Kwabena Adisi a.k.a Bola Ray has stated that for about seven (7) months, the media conglomerate was unable to pay its workers.
The astute media personality has recounted the challenges the firm went through to battle survival during the downtime, which saw many of its employees leave.
According to him, this has taught him many lessons in life.
The host of Starr Chat on Starr 103.5 FM made this known at the 2019 edition of iYes in Accra, Ghana — a youth empowerment summit.
He also added that many people who were close to him left when the company began to face challenges.
EIB Network officially launched Starr 103.5 FM in 2014 with a star-studded employees. The likes of GhOne TV, Ultimate FM, Kasapa FM, Live FM which is under their belt, also enjoyed similar touch. However, most of star presenters have left leaving a few, and mostly new faces behind.
Kafui Dey, Nii Arday Clegg, Naa Ashorkor, Anita Erskine, Giovani Caleb, Sammy Forson, Jay Foley, Ms Naa, and most recently, Berla Mundi are some of the numerous personalities who quit any of the stations associated with EIB Network.
