US Court jails Hajia4Reall over Internet Fraud

Hajia4Reall, real name Mona Faiz Montrage has been sentenced by a US Court to serve one (1) year, and a day in prison for her role in a $2m romance scam online.

The Ghanaian socialite and singer was charged with one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, one count of money laundering conspiracy, and one more count of money laundering.

According to the Inner City Press, she pleaded the court for only three (3) months, but was overruled.

While accusing her ex-boyfriend for all these, she added “I want to pay them back. I feel ashamed as a mother of an 8 year-old daughter. Please have mercy on me.”
