The State government has decided to provide Aadhaar seeding to all registered vehicle owners and driving licence holders.While Aadhaar card is mandatory for registering new vehicles and obtaining driving licence, the government has decided to link all existing vehicle owners and driving licence holders with Aadhaar number. The exercise, which is being taken up as a pilot project at Nandyal town, will commence on November 10.

Seed Aadhar With Vehicle Number and Driving Licence in AP and TG:

There are more than 70 lakh vehicles in AP with the number of driving licenses of more than 40 lakh According to AP transport department. The process will be helpful for the owners of the vehicle when they renewal their driving license, vehicle maintenance, service and any other facilities by the department. This will help the government to know the number of vehicles and people with multiple vehicles. This will help the transport department to know if adequate tax is being paid or not. As per latest record their are about 18 lakh driving licenses and vehicles have been registered with the Aadhar card in AP and TG.

AP Transport department is providing chance to attach Aadhaar number with Vehicle Number and Driving License through online . If you want to enter Aadhaar Number with your Motor Vehicle record or driving license records below the below steps to attach the aadhaar number.

How to Link your Aadhaar card with Driving Licence :

1. First Visit https://aptransport.in/APCFSTONLINE/Reports/AadharFeedingScreen.aspx
2 Next Click on Aadhaar Number Entry on Right Sideb in Web page
3 Check below Screen shot for example.

4 Than later Select the Option if which you want to enter REGISTRATION NUMBER/ LICENCE
5 Now enter your Registration Number/ Licence Number.
6 Once you have done it, all registered details will be provided on the screen
7 Now Click on “GET DETAILS” .
8 Here You’ll see your Vehicle Registration Details / Driving licence Details.
9 Than Enter your (UID) 12 digits Aadhaar Card Number
10 Next Enter your Mobile Number.
11 Once this is complete, all the intimation regarding the Aadhar card mapping details will be sent on the provided mobile number
12 Now Click on “SUBMIT” button.
