Shatta Wale slams the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) after the Supreme Court of Ghana’s ruling backs the ban on alcoholic drinks endorsement by Ghanaian celebrities.
According to Shatta Wale, Kasapreko Co. Ltd. is one of the companies that paid him well when he was signed as an ambassador and feels he is the target.
In 2015, an FDA directive released noted that Ghanaian celebrities should refrain from such endorsements.
The legal battle the began in November 2023 came to an end following a 5-2 ruling on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.
Some of the Ghanaian celebrities who have also openly lambasted the FDA against this is Wendy Shay, and Sarkodie.
