Earthquake in Philppines
An earthquake of 6.3 magnitude has hit a wide area in the Philippines, the USGS has reported.
The epicentre of the strike was felt in the city of Luzon at about 5.11pm (local time) on Easter Monday.
However, there were effect of shocks in Castillejos, Zambales, Bulacan, Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal & nearby areas.
Footage of offices and other building swaying in the central business district have been sighted.
Business activities have since been brought to a halt.
Affected persons have also been evacuated.
