National Youth Dialogue is a day event bringing together civil society organizations and International NGO’s in Ghana on “Transformative education”.
It is in commemoration of the theme for the International Youth Day 2019.
The dialogue presents an opportunity for young people to interact with policymakers on matters arising in Ghana’s educational systems, and how the youth can contribute in the transformational process, to foster socio-economic development.
The forum is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at the British council, Accra. In attendance will be about 200 young people from across the country to deliberate on key issues with respect to the theme.
The forum seeks to create a platform for young people to engage in education policy discourse with the policymakers. It will further allow the youth to present their position on transforming education and inclusivity. This platform will also sensitize the youth leaders on educational policies and suggest alternative approaches to Ghana educational policy reforms.
