A newly-wedded couple have lost their life following an accident near the Azar Tamplema Herbal Clinic in Gurugu, a suburb of Tamale in the Northern Region of Ghana.
The sad incident occurred on Sunday, 23rd June, 2025 at about 11.00pm, when the newly-weds were travelling to the groom’s rented apartment in Gurugu on a motorbike, PlugTimes.com understands.
The two (2) had joyfully celebrated their Islamic marriage ceremony earlier in the day.
“They were knocked down by some Nigerian guys driving an unregistered vehicle,” an eye witness said.
The bride died on the spot whereas the groom was pronounced dead later at the hospital.
