African Application Launchpad is an Africa-wide platform aiming to build the capacity of Youth from all African States and foster establishment of sustainable African startups in the area of the advanced ever-changing app and game technologies.
AAL targets building the capacity of ten thousand learners and establishing one hundred startups. AAL works by availing a high-quality, technology-learning online platform through crowd-sourcing top online content developed by prestigious universities and leading companies, and delivered through three leading MOOCs; Coursera, edX, and Udacity.
The program is managed by the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) Affiliated by the Egyptian Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT).
International Model Diplomats for Integrated Development (IMDID) in partnership seeks to nominate 100+ youth from each African country as per the registration.
The Registration is currently opened for the following 17 African Countries;
Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Madagascar, Uganda, Namibia, Togo, Algeria, Angola, Mauritania, Rwanda, Egypt, Chad, South Africa, Niger, Malawi and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
