Universal Music signs Deal with Yemi Alade

Yemi Alade joins Universal Music Africa

Nigerian singer Yemi Alade has signed a distribution deal with Universal Music Group (Africa).

The deal is a partnership with the ‘Johnny‘ hitmaker’s record label Effyzzie Music Group.

Director General of Universal Music Africa, Moussa Soumbounou noted that “we are happy and proud to accompany her in this new challenge and help reach a new international level in her career.”

The performer of “Johnny” has just released her album “Woman of Steel”, and has been crowned as the first African female artist to reach the million subscribers on YouTube. Yemi Alade has chosen to trust the African major and the Universal Music Group to help her step up in her prolific career.
