The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 preliminary draw has been held.
Top African teams have been drawn against each other, at a ceremony held in Cairo, Egypt on Tuesday, January 21, 2020.
Ghana has been drawn in Group G with South Africa, Zimbabwe and Ethiopia. Mohammed Salah‘s Egypt also faces Gabon, Libya, and Angola at this stage. Cameroon will also play against Ivory Coast in Group D of the qualifiers.
