Ghanaian music dynamo, Tic, has disclosed that his show dubbed “IamTiC Concert” is to make statement of hope for young artistes.
According to him, this is to inspire young musicians and others already in the trade, not to give up in face of difficult times.
The show which is expected to usher revelers into the yuletide, would take place at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra on Friday.
Speaking to a section of the media, TiC revealed that the reason behind the concert is to inspire artistes to believe in themselves that they can sing for decades and beyond.
He said though the journey will not be smooth, with determination, focus, coupled with hard work, every dream is achievable.
The man behind hit song, “Pene Ma Me”, called for support for experienced musicians, for their amazing contribution to the music industry.
According to him, in every industry experience is pivotal to organisational success and for this reason, the public should eschew from retiring musicians prematurely.
He therefore called on all music lovers to purchase their advance tickets and make their way to the Bukom Boxing Arena for a great entertainment on Friday.
The ‘Kwani Kwani’ pt 2 hit maker told the gathering that the likes VVIP, Tinny, Prince Bright , KiDi, Kuame Eugene, Macassio, Donzy, Nero X, Nii Funny, AK Songstress among others will enthrall patrons on the night.
Additionally, there would be other celebs from different background on the night with DKB, Boxer Bukom Banku, Rosemond Brown affectionately called Akuapem Poolo and others.
Tic rose to stardom in the early 90’s in the ‘Era of Woy3bia’ which he was featured by DJ Azigiza Jnr.
Though many were those who thought his amazing delivery on the song was fluke, the young chap together with Slim Busterr released a big banger, Masan Aba to the surprise of many.
As if it was not enough, the teenager with exceptional rap style, released a classic song christened “Philomena”, which took the country by storm.
With hard work, he took Ghana music to many countries and has six albums to his credit.
