Hon Catherine Abelema Afeku, Ghana’s Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture has been realigned to a new office, PlugTimes.com can confirm.
This was made known on Thursday, February 28, 2019 in a statement signed by Mr Eugene Arhin, Director of Communications at the seat of government.
The law maker is now the Minister of State at the Office of the President and she has been assigned to the office of the Senior Minister.
The vacant position will now be occupied by Hon Barbara Oteng Gyasi who is the Prestea Huni-Valley constituency.
Prior to her appointment, the 54-year old was the Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources.
She comes into office at the backdrop of remarkable achievement by the outgoing Minister and her team, especially in the tourism industry.
