MC Coaches, the manager of Tema-based rapper Yaw Siki admits his act is currently responding to treatment after he [Yaw] was involved in a motor accident on the Accra-Tema motorway during the early hours of Monday.
According Coaches, the accident was very serious forcing the rapper to sustain severe head injury while his friend who was driving sustained minor injuries.
Meanhwile, he admits, he is responding positively to treatment because he can now speak to people around him now which was not the same after the accident happened.
“It is better than when the accident happened as at this he couldn’t speak to us but for now he can say something to us,” he said.
Reports say, the rapper’s friend was driving the 2004 Toyota Camry car when they were returning from Accra to Tema and eventually somersaulted around the Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) Dominion Centre.
Yaw is currently at the Intensive Care Unit of the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.
