Zondeni Veronica Sobukwe, the widow of PAC founder Robert Sobukwe has died and tributes have since been pouring in.
These messages of condolence are from political figures, organisations, journalists, among others.
In this regard, renowned South African poet Don Mattera has dedicated a short poem titled ‘The Afrikan Queen’ to the liberation heroine who passed away on Wednesday morning.
In the poem, Mattera brings to the fore, the personality of Mama Sobuke who kicked the bucket at the age of 91.
