The Ministry of Education will tomorrow [Tuesday], October 23, 2018 meet authorities of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), and the Students’ Representative Council (SRC).
This has become necessary following the agitation by students of the school, which has led to many injured.
In a statement dated Monday, October 22, 2018 which was signed by the Communications Director, Vincent Ekow Assafuah, the Ministry acknowledges the current development in the school.
The Ministry of Education’s delegation will be led by the Minister Matthew Opoku Prempeh for the meeting set for 10am.
The Ministry has since called for calm on campus.
In a related development, the school has been closed down indefinitely and students (except foreign ones) are expected to leave campus.
