The year 2018 draws to a close at every tick of the clock and its mainly characterised by major events.
It was the ‘Reign’ album launch by Shatta Wale last Saturday at the Fantasy Dome inside Trade Fair Cente, La-Accra.
In a fortnight, Ghana will witness another major event and it is the annual ‘Ashaiman To Da World Concert’ which is headlined by Stonebwoy.
Aside the BHIM Nation boss, this event also hosts the creme de la creme in Ghana’s music industry.
Since its inception, the likes of Becca, Joyce Blessing, Fancy Gadam, King Promise, and of course Shatta Wale have graced it.
The Shatta Movement boss joined Zylofon Music mate at the 2017 event and many have asked whether he will replicate the same this year.
It is worth noting that Shatta Wale has not had any major performance since his management deal with the record label was announced in January 2018.
However, on Friday, October 12, 2018 he told Sammy Flex on Showbiz Agenda that he halted playing gigs because he wanted to launch his album first.
The album is finally out and many believe gracing the stage once more, especially at a time that he has finally launched his album will be a very welcoming one.
But something is not right — yes it is not! The reggae/dancehall musician barred Samini and Stonebwoy from performing at his album launch, and both have confirmed it.
The ‘Gringo‘ and ‘Amount‘ hitmaker is also set to perform at the BF Suma Ghana Connect 2018 concert, at the Fantasy Dome, reports gathered by PlugTimes.com suggests he might pull a surprise at the concert which will be held at the Saka Saka Park in Ashaiman.
As it has always been since its inception, some of the big acts are announced days to the event.
However, this news source has the list of some of the musicians are have confirmed as performers during the night.
They include, but not limited to Article Wan, Kelvyn Boy, Kofi Kinaata, and Kwesi Slay.
