Highlife musician Akwaboah has bemoaned how some Ghanaian musicians are not supportive of others.
According to the Sarkcess Music act, these persons are happy to see their colleagues fail in their music career.
The ‘Hold Me Down’ crooner made this revelation in an exclusive interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM’s ‘DayBreak Hitz’ on Thursday morning.
“For Ghanaian artistes, instead of them to help their artiste going down to get back on their feet, they’d be happy seeing them falling. I do not know why we think that way,” he said.
Akwaboah however lauded Nigerian musicians for always finding ways to help other musicians who may be need — one way or the other.
“Nigerians are glad to help artistes who are down with collaborations. Unlike Ghanaians,” he added.
The multi-talented musician has been nominated in the VGMA 2019 ‘Highlife Artiste of the Year’ category.
