Shatta Wale not part, Elorm Beenie explains
Award-winning Ghanaian music producer JMJ has launched his forthcoming project ‘Riddim of the GODS’.
Noted for producing the finest riddims in the country, this new masterpiece promises to take it a notch higher than its predecessors.
Launched on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at Carbon, Airport City, it has the hip-hop, dancehall, championship league, afrobeat, as well as the divas’ edition.
Among the musicians who will feature on the ‘Riddim of the GODS’ project include Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Samini, VVIP, EL, Epixode, Kurl Songx, Sista Afia, Feli Nuna, and Raquel.
The musicians on the riddim suggests it is, of course, a big project and one artiste everyone would have loved to see is reggae/dancehall act Shatta Wale. Checks by PlugTimes.com‘s Yaw Sarpong reveal he is/was not included in the project.
Addressing this at the press launch, Elorm Beenie noted the information available to him says he is engaged; and he [Shatta Wale] said he was going to work on his bit. However, the team is working with a timeline and the musician couldn’t meet the deadline for the project.
He also added that he [Shatta Wale] is likely to send in his files sooner than later. As a result, it does not mean he’s being left out or some other artistes are being left out.
‘Riddim of the GODS’ is made up of 36 songs and it is set to be made available for public ‘consumption’.
