Robbers break into Bawumia’s Home


The home of Ghana’s vice president Dr Mahamadu Bawumia has been burgled by robbers.

The robbers, PlugTimes.com understands, made way with some valuable items from his private residence.

Four (4) persons have been arrested by the Ghana Police Service in connection with the incident, to assist in investigations.

The unfortunate occurred at his Kperiga home, Walewale, in the West Mamprusi Municiplity of North East Region.

Mynewsgh.com reports, the Walewale Division Police Commander, DSP David Noble when reached, disclosed that he was on leave and was not abreast with details of the incident and directed MyNewsGh.com to his assistant”.

In a move to curb the action of the robbers, “the fence wall at the home of the Vice President at Kperiga was being reinforced by increasing its height.”

PlugTimes.com also understands five (5) houses in the area were also robbed.
