Hon. Aponkye, after the District Assembly election defeat was caught off guard, sleeping inside his barbering shop.

Real name Nana Adabor Ibrahim Issah Ampem, he probably be suffering from stress, anxiety, depression, following the elections.

He lost the Adukrom-Nima Assembly member position to Hon.  Abdul Rashid who polled 1056 votes.
