Sarkodie And R2bees Make Forbes’ “Thirteen African Celebrities to Watch in 2013”


American business magazine, Forbes has published a list of thirteen African celebrities to watch out for in the year 2013 and features Ghana’s own Sarkodie and R2bees.

The list was computer after the online magazine asked readers were asked to name the most influential icons in contemporary African pop culture.

The list also took into consideration their performance sell outs, commercial and record deals etc.

The list is made up of musicians, actors, entrepreneurs, media personalities etc.

Below is the list of Forbes’ African celebrities to watch in 2013 in no special order:

David Oyelowo, Actor – Nigeria

Trevor Noah, Comedian – South Africa

Serge Ibaka, NBA player, Republic of Congo
