Osu Mantse, Nii Okwei Kinka Dowuona VI, and other traditional leaders, on Friday performed the customary rites of “Nmaa Faa” to launch the preparation towards the annual Homowo festival of the people of Osu.
Nmaa Faa literary means uprooting and replanting of millet seedlings nursed during the one month period ban of drumming and noise making in the Ga State in readiness for the Homowo festival.

He asked the youth to be patriotic and hard working to develop Osu.
He urged them to respect the elderly so as to gain their wisdom, knowledge and experience.
Nii Kinka Dowuona advised the people to stop the petty squabbles among them and rather come together and show love to each other for Osu State to see progress.
