The 2014 edition of the annual Miss Ghana USA pageant came off as scheduled on Saturday and 12 beautiful, bold and intelligent ladies contested for the covetous crown.
This year’s edition which is the fourth saw stiff competition from the the contestants.
At the end of the keenly contested beauty pageant, Ms. Akua Tokunboh was adjudged the overall winner, taking over from 2013 winner Afua Osei.
The 1st runner-up went to Emelia Lartey whiles the 2nd runner-up place was won by Rachel Amoah.
Ghanaian rapper, D-Black headlined the event and thrilled the audience.
The event took place at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater (405 W 55th Street, New York, NY 10019).
