The President of the Republic of Ghana H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has called for the immediate arrest of the President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kwesi Nyantakyi for defrauding by false pretense, and influence peddling PlugTimes.com can confirm.
The First Gentleman of the land issued the order following a security briefing on Investigative Journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas‘ latest exposé on Ghana football which is tiled “Number 12”.
Although the video is yet to be screened to the general public, grapevine information available to PlugTimes.com reveals Mr Nyantakyi who is currently not in the country was caught on camera in compromising positions.
The President has also ordered a full scale investigation by the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ghana Police Service into this matter.
If Mr Nyantakyi or any other person is found culpable he/they are likely to be brought before the full rigorous of the law.
The GFA boss is said to have used the name of the President, the vice-President and other top government officials for abominable gains.
Mr Nyantakyi has been the President of Ghana’s football governing body for 13 years now.
