Anthony Daning, the one-time manager of celebrated Ghanaian musician Samini has rebuked the latter for failed surprise performance at Shatta Wale’s album launch.
The Zylofon Music act launched his much-talked about ‘Reign’ album last Saturday, at the Fantasy Dome in La-Accra.
It was during that night that Stonebwoy and Samini arrived at the venue with the intention to perform.
However, Shatta Wale was not privy to their coming since it was never arranged. And as a result their plan to pull a surprise was turned down.
In a reaction to this, the artiste manager who is also known in the industry as Tony Pun has noted that the two (2) musicians decision was “not logic”.
According to him, it is because such things are planned with artiste and management prior to performance. As a result one “you can’t just pop up in the middle of someone’s performance that u wanna perform.”
He made this comment in a Facebook post on Monday.

Usually, this is the real vibe:
An Artiste Manager usually meets with “Surprise Acts or Artistes” and their management prior to a performance.
Briefings, coordination, timing and choice of songs are all planned prior to the surprise performance as was done in the past, just like he did for Saminifest.
You can’t just pop up in the middle of someone’s performance that u wanna perform.
Doesn’t work! Thats not logic, especially when shows are all planned to end at specific times.

In a related development, Shatta Wale has apolgised to the two (2) musicians for the mishap.
