Decomposing bodies of the three (3) kidnapped Takoradi girls have been found.
The bodies were discovered in Kasawrodo in the Western Region of Ghana.
It took a special police operation to help retrieve the bodies from a septic tank inside an uncompleted house on Friday night, around 7.00pm.
A team of police officers effected the operation following a tip-off in the community.
The three (3) Takoradi girls – Ruthlove Quayson, Priscilla Blessing Bentum and Priscilla Koranchie were kidnapped between August and December 2018.
Ghana Police Service Statement on Kidnapped Takoradi Girls
The Ghana Police Service has released an official statement following the operation on Friday night.
According to the police, the building was occupied by convict Samuel Odeoutuk Willis.
“The building was occupied by convict Samuel Odeoutuk Willis who is one of the accused person standing trial for allegedly kidnapping the three (3) Takoradi girls.”
“The discovered human remains has been sent to the forensic science laboratory of the Ghana Police Service for analysis and further investigations,” the statement added.
