Robert Mugabe dies aged 95

Robert Mugabe, the former president of southern African country of Zimbabwe has been confirmed dead.

The longtime leader of Zimbabwe died at the age of 95, on Friday, September 6, 2019, while receiving treatment at a hospital in Singapore.

Mr. Mugabe ruled the country for more than three (3) decades.

He helped toppled the colonial rule in Zimbabwe, and led it to the brink of economic ruin at the latter part of his reign.

He was forced to resign after a military takeover in November 2017.
