DBlack Signs Distribution Deal With Universal Music Group

DBlackGhanaian rapper DBlack has signed a distribution deal with the largest American music corporation in the world, Universal Music Group (UMG), enewsgh has reported.

According to the report, the deal which will span for two years [thus the next 24 months] will see the distribution of the musician’s songs being handled by the international music distribution company.

The “Vera” hit-maker in recent times has been one of the few artistes in the country that is branding the personality very well. This comes after going into contract with some corporate bodies for commercials especially Ghana’s ICT giants rLG.

Headquartered in Santa Monica, California, UMG owns Universal Music Publishing Group and operates as a subsidiary of Paris-based media conglomerate Vivendi.

Motown Records, EMI Records, Interscope Records among other record labels also operate under UMG.
