He started the tour that took him to various TB prone communities all over Ghana where he held talks with the chiefs, queenmothers and the people of those communities. The king of social responsibility, Obour has toured six communities, namely Wa, Tamale, Sunyani, Suhum (Kraboa Coaltar), Somanya and Anomabo.

The prevalence and increasing number of TB cases in the Anomabo district was the reason for Obour’s choice of the community.

Obour was met by the queenmother of the town and an enthusiastic crowd waiting to hear why he had taken time off his busy schedule to come to Anomabo to interact with them.

In his address, Obour advised the people to desist from treating TB as a spiritual sickness but seek early treatment in the hospital rather than go to the shrine or see a fetish priest.

He asserted that medication was free and urged them to take advantage of that opportunity to seek cure. He added that people should seek early treatment when they cough for more than a week. Also in his elaboration, Obour touched on the symptoms of TB.

Obour entertained the crowd for their support and urged them all to be ambassadors of TB.
