Rapper Okyeame Kwame on Wednesday led a delegation of doctors, philanthropists and journalists to call on the Minister of Health, Madam Sherry Ayitey to notify her about his free Hepatitis B screening initiative.
Madam Sherry Ayitey lauded him for his initiative and promised the delegation of the government’s support. Government she said, will take a keen interest in the campaign.
An excited Okyeame Kwame thanked the Minister for her support.
Every year Okyeame Kwame’s One Mic Entertainment, MDS-Lancet Laboratories and the MTN Ghana Foundation conduct clinics around the country, screening and counselling people for free.
This year’s is supported by Japan Motors, DDP, Vitamilk and CDH Financial Holdings.
