Ghanaian dancehall musician Shatta Wale also known as Bandana has registered his displeasure at what he terms a “disgrace” to his career in the Ghana music industry.
In a message to fans, he admitted how unhappy his fans have over the years felt following his somewhat unappreciable toils in the industry until now.
“I don’t need any award in Ghana from now on again cuz I been disgraced too much in Ghana music industry and my fans are not happy about it and I mean it from my Heart…big up every Shatta wale fan,” he said.
The ‘Dancehall King’ hit maker made this known minutes after missing out on the “Reggae-Dancehall Song of the Year” category with his song ‘Shatta City’ to Kaakie’s ‘Toffee Pon Tongue.’
Surprisingly, the SM Records act had earlier the day via his facebook page saying “I believe this is the day our Good Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in him whether good or bad come what may at the VGMA tonight…”
But what one would ask is whether he has forgotten what he earlier on said or it is something intentional.
