People’s Celebrity Awards Ghana 2017 Call for Entries

The People’s Choice Awards Ghana which eventually metamorphosed to GN Bank Awards in 2015 following a court injunction has finally settled on the new name People’s Celebrity Awards Ghana.
The adoption of the new name comes a year after the awards went into a hiatus to settle the long-standing court case with e-Volution International in regards to the name ownership right.
Following the hearing, Spider Lee Entertainment lost the case, and a change in name became necessary.
Now the People’s Celebrity Awards, it seeks to award and celebrate individuals and organisations which have contributed as well as those that continue to excel in their respective fields towards the development of the Ghanaian Arts and Entertainment industry.
It is a 100% public voting scheme which gives absolute power to the public to choose the winner — with the exception of the Lifetime Achievement Awards (Individual & Organisation).

The People’s Celebrity Awards Ghana 2017 considers the period of 1st August 2016 to 31st July 2017 as the year under review. Nominations will end on 22nd October, 2017 before the main event at the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday, November 25, 2017.
