One Week Celebration for Ebony
The family of late young Ghanaian musician Ebony, real name Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng has reached an agreement to host her one week celebration this weekend.
Although the ‘Maame Hwe’ hitmaker died, together with two (2) others on Thursday, February 8, 2018, her ménage chose this Sunday, February 18, 2018 for the celebration.
The one week celebration of the late RuffTown Records and Midas Touch Inc. act will be held at the St. Martin de Porres School in Dansoman, a suburb of Accra, Ghana.
The 20-year-old Sunyani-Abesim lady lost her life in a motor accident at Mankraso when returning from Sunyani; where she had visited her mother.
Her former label team RuffTown Records / Midas Touch Inc have also paid an official visit to her father Nana Opoku Kwarteng at his residence in Dansoman, Accra.
Ebony was known for hit songs like ‘Dancefloor,’ ‘Poison,’ ‘Kupe’, ‘Date Ur Fada’ ‘Hustle’ and ’‘Maame Hwe’. She also had an album titled ‘Bonyfied’ to her credit.
