Ahead of the season, one of the eighteen (18) newly-approved clubs that will participate in the campaign is Dansoman-based Liberty Professionals FC.
The club has named Ghanaian reggae/dancehall musician Samini, real name Emmanuel Andrews Sammini as its Ambassador.
Samini is expected to, among other duties, help project/raise the brand awareness and enthusiasm for the club.
He has over the years brought the magic touch to brands and products across the country. These include, but not limited to MTN Ghana, 2008 AFCON.
The ‘Obra’ hitmaker joins the likes of Donzy and Jupitar who are officially affiliated to Inter Allies, and Dreams FC, respectively.
The 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season begins weekend of 27-29 December.

Liberty Professionals, was founded in 1996 by Accra-based businessmen Felix Ansong and Alhaji Sly Tetteh. The club was one of the earliest in Ghana to adopt a professional approach to the management of a football club.
The club started their first season in the Poly Tank Division One League, but were promoted to the Ghana Telecom Premier League within their second season. Since then the club has consistently maintained respectable league match performances.
Liberty Professionals FC has an estimated net worth of $19million. Their home stadium is Carl Reindorf Park which can seat up to 2,000 people.
