Lord Paper reacts after 3Music Awards “Breakthrough Act” Nomination

Lord Paper 3Music Awards
Ghanaian musician Lord Paper has had a word following his nomination in the “Breakthrough Act” category of the 3Music Awards.
This comes after breaking through the glass-ceiling of Ghana’s music industry in 2016 with his “Ewurama” song.
Perhaps shocking, the singer has revealed that he felt the scheme would never nominate him.
He made this known in an exclusive interview with Jay Foley on the 3Music Awards Diaries.
“I thought they would never nominate me because I’ve been through so much when it comes to this particular industry,” he said.
“I believe all of them deserve to be there. I mean I broke through in 2016. I’m an Old G. I feel it is now that they are recognizing me and my efforts in the music industry which is cool. At least, they are recognising me,” he added.

The “Asabone” hitmaker has been nominated in the same category with the likes of J. Derobie, Kofi Mole, MOG Music, OV, S3fa and Tulenkey.
He also earned a nomination in a similar category of the 2020 Ghana Music Awards.
