Annual Okyeame Kwame Hepatitis B Screening on July 28

Okyeame KwameThe annual Okyeame Kwame Hepatitis B screening section is here once again and this year it is expected to screen over 2,000 peoople for free.

There will be a week-long celebration to create awareness about the killer disease before the main screening event on Sunday, July 28 which is also the World Hepatitis Day.

According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), the prevalence rate for hepatitis B is 15% which means 1 out of every 6 Ghanaian is exposed to the virus.

This event is powered by One Mic Entertainment with support from the MTN Ghana Foundation, MDS-Lancet Laboratories, Live 91.9 FM, CDH and Japan Motors.
