Budding Ghanaian Actor Maxwell Beganim here to shine

Today, this blog [YawSarpon360.wordpress.com] engages another young, versatile and superb actor that Ghana has produced.

Born on Monday, September 11, 1989, Maxwell Beganim nicknamed ‘MaxBeg’ may sound new to many Ghanaians but he is definitely not new to authentic talent for acting.

The genius actor and model had his Senior High School education at Kumasi Academy and graduated this year from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) where he read BSc. Biological Science. He hails from Offinso-Abofour in the Ashanti region of the Republic of Ghana.

Growing up in a family that appreciates any good venture, Maxwell decided to follow his passion [acting].

Asked whether he has full support of the family, he said, ‘oh! Yea my family supports me very much in what I love doing [acting] and they know I do it best. I get my inspiration and motivation from them,’ he said.

The versatile actor has starred and been spectacular in stage dramas and movies including J-Nissi Production’s classic ‘His Death In The 21st Century’ which also starred the industry’s pre-eminents like Adjetey Anang, Naa Ashorkor and many outstanding actors.

He has also starred in ‘The Devil’s Wife’ as ‘Rev. Kwaku Kom’, ‘Non Human’ as ‘Judo’ and has also modelled for ‘AGBO Clothing.’ He has also worked with Falcon X Productions on a KNUST campus series ‘CLAB00i’.

Having prospects for starring in Hollywood, he mentions Denzel Washington and Vin Diesel as actors he would love to star in a movie alongside and admits that the former is his role-model.

For the best of the industry, he charged producers to work with people who are passionate about acting and not just those who want to act because of someone and also collaborate with international actors to get us to the top.

Maxwell sees acting as a springboard to overcome challenges other than a challenge itself and want to be a role model for young passionate entertainers.
